NitePix processes everything on your device. Your audio, your camera, your files, and your settings never leave your machine. We run no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. The desktop app talks to our servers for exactly two things — license checks and an update check — described below.
Nothing. The web app runs entirely on your device and works with no network connection once loaded. We run no accounts and no analytics, and your audio, camera, files, and settings never leave your machine (see above). One third party appears on purchase-related surfaces: the pricing panel and the store pages load Paddle's checkout script from Paddle's CDN to show current localized pricing (and, on the store page, to run the checkout). Like any web request, that tells Paddle your IP address and user agent, handled under Paddle's privacy policy; the visualizer itself never talks to Paddle, and if Paddle is unreachable the app simply shows the list price and carries on.
Our hosting provider (currently Vercel) keeps standard server request logs (IP address, user agent) as part of serving the static files; that is the hosting provider acting as our processor, and we do not use those logs to identify or track anyone.
The desktop app is installed locally and is built to run fully offline during a show. It makes exactly two kinds of network request, both to our own servers:
license.superlocrian.xyz with your license key
and an anonymous machine fingerprint (a hash that identifies the
install, not you). These checks are lazy and offline-tolerant: the
app never blocks rendering on a network request and keeps working
offline for extended periods.updates.superlocrian.xyz so it can tell you when a new
version exists. It is notify-only: nothing downloads or installs
automatically, and the request carries no more than any web request
(IP address, app version).Neither request ever carries audio, video, files, scenes, settings, or usage data.
The desktop app is sold with Paddle.com as merchant of record: Paddle runs the checkout and handles your payment details under Paddle's own privacy policy — we never see your card number. From a purchase we receive the transaction id and your email address, which we use to create your license and send you the license key (delivered through our email provider, Resend, acting as our processor). See the Refund Policy for how refunds affect a license.
If you email us or use the contact form at nitepix.superlocrian.xyz/contact (credit fixes, takedown requests, support), we see the name you give, your email address, and your message, and use them only to reply and to keep a record of the request. Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox through Resend (our email processor) and protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process connection data under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't add you to any list.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Features that would touch a network beyond what's described above — opt-in crash reporting, analytics, or any remote-control feature that reaches past your own network — will be disclosed here before they ship. If this page doesn't mention it, the app doesn't do it.
